Decision making is a key theme in an expat’s life

‘Expat by Design’ is a personal empowerment course, based on the ‘Human Design System’©. It gives you a unique life and decision making strategy that works for you.

So … why ‘Expat by Design’?

Where most counselors, books and trainings for expats are geared toward the common or standard “expat problems”, ‘Expat by Design’ takes you further.

As an expat family member, you frequently have to make important decisions on jobs, housing, schooling, etc., impacting the whole family for a long time.
An expat family faces these questions again and again, whereas a typical ‘local’ Dutch family will face these questions 2 to 3 times in a lifetime:

This course will cover the issues and the important decision making moments an expat faces as an individual: how do I deal with all the issues that I am facing, how do I decide what to do and which life strategy works for me, what can I truly rely on?
This course will also address the issues you, your children or your partner are facing as a family, and how they affect the interaction between you.

Living abroad, in an unfamiliar culture where your social network is less self evident, may also raise uneasy feelings or confusion about your own identity. Understanding your unique design helps you to establish a strong base within yourself, independent of the location or situation you are in: you will better be able to be yourself and to connect and interact with others as “yourself”.
